Sweety Saradha is an avid member of Greater Seattle area community and an inspiration for many. She is a business owner, an artist, an educator and an agent for public service. She is a certified Bob Rosses instructor and the founder of Sweety Saradha Arts. She specializes in portraits, landscapes, still-life, photorealistic, wildlife, floral, and abstract art forms. She loves colors and the happiness it brings to everyone’s life. She also loves working in the Indian art forms like Rajasthani and Tanjore Paintings. She teaches watercolor, acrylic, oils, brush pens, alcohol ink marker, color pencils, oil pastels, charcoal, resin, chalk pastels, etc.
She is a well-known art educator in the Greater Seattle Area and has taught over 20,000 students. She pushes each student’s creativity and encourages exploration within themselves and their art. She constantly reminds her students that “nothing is impossible.” Not only has she won several National and International Art contest such as Contemporary Art Gallery, Light Space & Time, Whitney Art LLC Art Contest, Singular Creations, etc. but her students have also become exceptional and have won several National and International awards themselves and their artwork have been exhibited in art galleries.
In addition to being an educator Sweety Saradha aims to provide every child an outlet for expression through art. She seeks to create a global platform that is easily accessible and encourages creativity. To pursue this, she started the Expressions Art program.
Mimi Uribe-Muñoz is a fifteenth-year-old teen who is dedicated to helping her community. She has done a lot of volunteering in her community through Centro Cultural Mexicano (non-profit), which helps Latinos and people from our community to have resources like food, school supplies, gifts for Christmas, rental help, and more.
She also is involved with a larger community through the Bill and Melinda Gates Youth Ambassador Program. She started her journey in the YAP program in September of 2022 and has become a great leader and advocate in her community. Furthermore, all of the kids in the program were able to organize and lead a Teen Action Fair, which helps spread knowledge about many different struggles with different global goals throught our state.
Currently, in the summer of 2023, she continues on helping the community by working with kids throughout the summer and helping gain life skills through teaching them sports. After only three years, Mimi is still continuing to help and support everyone in the community.
Currently residing in Sammamish, Dishitaa Jain began her artistic journey at a young age. As an artist, she has attained proficiency through participation in several art classes and competitions. She has also sharpened her art skills by creating various forms of art, using a wide variety of materials. Furthermore, she has supported benevolent causes such as Sofia Way, Asha Seattle, and Providence Point, and she still continues to support her community!
Not only does Dishitaa specialize in her art, but she also passionately participates in other extracurricular activities like taekwondo, swimming, coding, writing, and math. She hopes to spread her love of art by educating younger kids to share her enthusiasm!
Aishani Tyagi is a 15 year old high schooler, based in Washington, who loves to help her community. She was a part of NJHS throughout her 8th grade, and she also volunteers at numerous locations such as Expressions Arts. Some Aishani’s hobbies include art, which she has been pursuing for 2 years, and piano, which has been her passion for over 5 years. In 2023, she joined Expressions Arts Prep Academy, in hope to teach younger kids the importance of art. Through this experience, she can’t wait to expand her network and spread her message.
Harshith is entering 9th grade at Newport Highschool this fall. Some of his interests include building and creating various items, like food, lego sets, and model kits. He also likes to play squash, a racquet sport, which is a rather unrecognized sport. He would like to volunteer for this opportunity because he would like to understand how to properly convey his knowledge of topics to others, though they may be younger than him.
Prakhar is an upcoming sophomore at Redmond High School. He is super excited to teach the art of chess, a sport that teaches numerous disciplines, including cognitive skills, sportsmanship, strategic thinking and planning ahead.
Avishi Jain is 13 years old and her hobbies are dancing, painting, and playing the piano. She have been drawing ever since she was a young kid and hopes to inspire many people to engage with the world in a meaningful way, reminding viewers of the beauty that resides within every moment.
She is a 9th grader who is passionate about art and biology.
Introducing Shanaya Shah, a budding artist with a passion for creativity that has flourished since the age of seven. Primarily skilled in acrylic painting and colored pencils, Shanaya’s artistic journey is marked by a dynamic exploration of various styles. Her innate curiosity and willingness to experiment have led her to venture beyond her comfort zone, constantly seeking fresh avenues of expression.
Sneha Shah loves painting. She has a passion for reading and love swimming of her school swim team. She loves teaching kids and have been a teacher for about four years. She loves seeing kids create amazing artwork.
Ananya is a sixth grader with an immense passion for art. She also enjoys writing, a love fostered by her enthusiasm for reading. In her pastime, baking has always been something she could do to relax. But there is more to her than just that. She co-founded Sugar Rush, a youth-run charity program dedicated to raising funds and spreading support for various causes.
Shriyaditha Sridhar is a 6th grader who is 11 years old. One of her favorite hobbies is playing the piano. She have been playing the piano since she was a 5-year-old and always found it interesting. She also loves sharing her knowledge with others. Which is what gave her the idea of teaching how to play the piano to the kids at Sammamish Montessori.
Piano is a beautiful musical instrument to learn. With little effort and good guidance, little kids can explore the world of music. Music has a positive impact on everyone, especially little children. It helps in improving hand-eye coordination, self-esteem and confidence. Piano is a versatile instrument that can help children develop their creativity and self-expression. It also helps children by improving their concentration and focus.
She is excited about the opportunity to share the joy of music with the young learners at Sammamish Montessori School. She would like to create a fun and engaging learning environment that nurtures not only musical skills, but also personal development.
